Previously, there has been an option on Epic issues to 'Include Child Issues' - this combined all time tracking work logs from associated child issues on to the Time Tracking Field of the Epic. We have notice today that this feature has disappeared.

Is this a known issue or is the removal of this feature intended?

Hey, @Ella H! 👋

You're not alone — several teams have reported that the “Include Child Issues” option on Epics quietly disappeared. It looks like this was an experimental or phased feature from Atlassian that’s no longer available. There’s quite a bit of discussion in the community around building automations just to replicate this, which suggests it was never fully rolled out to everyone.

If you’re looking for a consistent way to roll up time from child issues into the Epic (and more), I can suggest using JetTime — it does exactly that, right inside the issue panel, with a view that looks native to Jira:

Plus, with JetTime, you can track anything — not just time. It’s also privacy-first and fully Runs on Atlassian, so your data never leaves Jira.

Hi @Anton from JetHeads_io ,

I removed a promotion that’s against our  Atlassian Partners - Rules of Engagement . Please take a moment to review our guidelines so you're aware for next time. Thanks!

Hi, @SilkeS! 👋

Yes, I have started with these articles.

I see that I have overlooked the point about mentioning the special pricing of free trials, sorry. I will take that into account in the future!
