Time Tracking, and the "Original Estimate" field for Subtask

I have enabled Time Tracking, and the "Original Estimate" field is available only for Stories or Tasks. Is there a way to have the "Original Estimate" field for Subtasks? We are using the Jira DC version.

You need to add the Original Estimate field to the screens used by the Subtask issue type.

For the project where you want to apply that change, go to the Project Settings and click on the Screens option. That will show you the Issue Type Screen Scheme used by the project and the Screen Schemes that are in it.

Find the Screen Scheme on that page that includes the Subtask issue type and expand the screen scheme.

That will show you the screens used for the subtask issue type in the project.

Click on the screen link(s) to navigate to the page where you can add and remove fields for that screen.

Note that screens may be used in multiple Screen Schemes, and Screen Schemes can be used in multiple Issue Type Screen Schemes, and Issue Type Screen Schemes can be used in multiple projects. The change you make to this screen may affect more than just one project if it has been shared and reused.
