Time Tracking enable on Sub Task but not User Story

Can i disable time tracking ( entering time level ) at story level and enable at subtask level for same user story ( sub tasks ) 

I want to track user story with story points as sub tasks at hours / days .

If i enable time tracking it makes in mandatory for user story and task level both

You have to add this in every Transition of you user Story workflow. It worked for me to only enable time tracking in subtasks and disable it in the parent Tasks.
