Time tracking on a task only if is "In Progress"

Hello Community,

Please i need to edit Jira, so my co workers can time track on a task only if is "in progress".

I want to prohibit the time tracking if the task is not in the "In Progress" state.

If someone know how to do it please.

Hi @REDA EL HAIDAWI EL IDRISSI ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

In order to do that you need to setup workflow properties (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-workflow-properties/).

In particular you need to add the following property key : jira.permission.work.denied value : leave empty for each status different from In Progress in your workflow.

This is the trick.
