Hello there,
We are developing JIRA gadget, and found out that sometimes the gadget is not shown due to timeout.
We are not explicitly setting timeout value on the gadget, so we suspect there is some defalut value for timeout on JIRA itself.
Is there anyone who has an idea about this?
Regards,
Daisuke Niwa
Hi Daisuke
I have a documentation regarding on how to change the default time sesion timeout value : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Changing+the+default+session+timeout
Hope it helps
Cheers
Thanks & Regards
Daryl Chuah
Thank you for your response.
I know there is a session timeout value, but is this also applied for gadget?

There is nothing specific for gadget,AFAIK. If the gadget keeps requesting data from JIRA, it will never timeout (in fact JIRA session will always be alive). Else it will time out the way any other session times out in JIRA.
