Hi All,
I work in an environment where we have developers, testers, engineers, etc. using the time tracking feature in Jira to obtain time estimates and actuals. The challenge that we have is our finance team use a different application, business central, which takes information from another system where everyone has to manually reenter their time.
The other system is more business centric and looks at whether the effort is billed against a customer or against our core platform, etc.
My question is, are there any integrations to business central that will automate this, or any plugins that we can use that will allow us to export the time logged data and import it into business central so that our teams don't have manually re-enter their time in multiple systems?
Would be great to get some advice from others about how they have avoided this manual re-entry problem.
Hi @Ashley Woods
I'm Daniel from EverIT, one of the many time-tracking app vendors on the marketplace. Our plugin, Timetracker offers to add extra information for worklogs like billing info and customer info in the form of tags, which might also be exported to Excel/CSV, or connected to other systems through REST API.
A product team member would be happy to explore the integration possibility between Jira + Timetracker and Business Central. If you're interested, book a demo call here.

Hi @Ashley Woods - You may use Connector to Jira and Business Central
Though one can only comment if the solution can fully meet your needs upon doing a quick POC.
