To upgrade my jira 7.1.x version Do I need to pay a new licence?

JIRA version 7.1.x is approaching End Of Life. Please plan to upgrade JIRA within 183 days.

 

We just have paid until 2020 support. Does support include a new version of JIRA?

Your licence entitles you to use any version released before the end date on the licence.  So if you've paid through to 2020, you'll be able to go to 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.others-not-out-yet, and probably 8 and 9 if they're released in the next 3 years.
