Top ranked issue not pick up for work

Hello,

Do you know how I can setup mail notification with automation in JIRA if not top ranked issue is NOT pick up by Dev for implementation? We are working in Kanban framework. In board is defined column Ready with issues that can be pick up, but it can happen that Devs do not pick up the top ranked issue. Thank you!

Hi Jovanka,

There's no real way to do this because "not picking up an issue" is not an event.  There's nothing in Jira that can respond to an event that does not happen.

All you can do is set up a filter, ordered by rank, and watch it, maybe subscribing to it so you get emailed the top 50 regularly.
