Tracking Jira Tasks in Confluence

Aaron Rushworth March 26, 2019

Hi all,

We're looking at tracking Jira task in confluence for other members of our team to much more easily track issues being raised. Currently we use a table in Confluence which includes a column to link in the Jira task, which provides the task number, title and status. Is it possible to automatically track things from Jira through separate cells. Specifically:

1. Story Point Estimate

2. Name of sprint (or backlog)

3. Current status (to do, in dev, testing, done etc)

Otherwise does anybody use any other methods to add more transparency to track tasks for their wider team?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi @Aaron Rushworth ,

You can do this by inserting the jira filter macro directly into the page.

Great thank you so much for your help. Is there a way to set the default columns to display?

We're not just showing them all as a single table, instead inserting individual widgets into different cells in a table. This way when an issue is created for something, they can see it's exact status without sifting through Jira (see image).

What you see in the image is exactly what I was hoping to do. So hopefully it is possible to change the defaults as well?
