Tracking Random Issues in a Jira Dashboard

Cee Kay August 10, 2023

This is a unique question and one that might be quite difficult to answer, but I'm hoping someone here can help me find a way to do this.

I have 4 different functional sections which I have created Epics for. Each of the Epics has a combination of 4-10 Stories, Tasks or Sub-Tasks as children to it. The ASK is for me to create a dashboard  which shows activity for each of the Epics and their associated Child issues.

Which would be the best Gadget to use to represent activity  for those issues?

Thanks

Hi @Cee Kay

By using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) gadget offered by our Great Gadgets plugin you can display the big picture of your project by displaying the issue in form of Epics > Features, Stories, Tasks > Subtasks along with their status.

All you have to do is to have a filter with all the issues to be displayed/grouped, and configure the gadget to use it.

This plugin offers many other gadgets that you will find useful. To make an idea about how many things you can track with this app, take a look on our blog.

Thank you,

I believe Activity Stream Gadget or Issue Statistics Gadget would be best for your scenario.
