Good day, we have JSD Cloud for technical support and JSW server for dev-team. We manually link our tickets from JSD cloud to JSW server, then we are trying to set up automation of transitioning JSD cloud tickets linked to JSW server tickets.
In automation plugin we have errors, that "linked issue is not found", moreover, when we try to link issue of JSW's project to JSD project through field there are no issues found like it can't find our project.
Applications are connected through OAuth in both app settings.
Would appreciate any help, thanks.

I understand that you are trying to use the default JIRA Service Desk Automation (Not an app provided by a third-party plugin) to trigger an action in an issue from a different instance based on an action performed in the current instance. Is it correct?
If that's what you are trying to do, I'm afraid that the JIRA Service Desk automation does not work cross JIRA instances (Server or Cloud), although I agree with you this would be a useful feature.
In fact, we have created a feature request to improve the automation functionality to also trigger actions in linked JIRA instances:
- Automation rules to work with remote issue links
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
If you are using a third-party plugin to perform the automation or you are trying to achieve something different than what I interpreted, please let me know.
Good day, Petter and thank you for answer. Yes, you've interpreted my answer correctly, I need cross-instance Jira automation in transitioning issue status. But I have similar problems when I'm trying to use plugins like Automation and JSU: in both plugins i'm facing error about finding my linked issues. Ok, I voted for mentioned feature.
