Troubleshooting aggregateExpression from the ScriptRunner plugin

Jon Abad

Hi,

I'm running JIRA 5.1.3 with ScriptRunner 2.1.3 and attempting to sum up the story points in my backlog using JQL as inspired from the ScriptRunner samples:

project = Core AND SprintGH not in openSprints() and issueFunction in aggregateExpression("Total points", "storyPoints.sum()")

This is merely returning the list of issues and not the expected aggregate.

I'm not seeing any errors in the Chrome JS console or the Atlassian-jira.log file so i'm lost as to how to identify the problem.

I tried:

  • Disabling and re-enabling the script jql function
  • Restarting my instance
  • IE9 vs Chrome 26

Any help is appreciated!

I' using JIRA 5.1.2, ScriptRunner 2.1.3 and have the same problem. No resultbox will be shown, only a list of issues.

Please help.

Thanks
