Hi
We have created an automation rule where we are creating multiple task when status changed to "In progress" from "To do". It is working fine.
Task is having link established with Epic : is child task of
Now we are trying to create an automation rule where when anyone put some comments in task it will flow to Epic.
Steps followed:
1. Issue commented: All comments
2. Issue type equals : Task
3. Branch created : parent also tried linked issues
4. Then add comment on issue: triggeissue.comments.last.body in curly brackets.
I am getting error message ..branch step
Error searching related issues. This is most likely because the following issue don't have related issue of the type you specified.
Please guide...
Hi @Mohit Jain,
Have you tried a branch for Epic (Parent)? To make sure your task is indeed linked to an epic, you could even include an additional condition that validates the presence of an epic before stepping into the branch part.
Hope this helps!
@Walter Buggenhout I tried this option as well...I have tried some other options...but same result 😞
You mentioned additional condition, could you please elaborate more...I am new to tool..🙏
