Trying to grant a user a Software license.

I apologize if this is super easy, but I can't seem to figure out how to grant a user a software license in JIRA. She currently has a Service Desk license but now I need to add her to the Software license. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Greetings!

Check Administration -> User Management -> Groups

There will be a group in there with your desired application access (i hope). Add her to this group and things should be dandy. Note that she will consume a JIRA Software license if you do this.

If there isnt such a group for whatever reason:

1. Administration -> User Management -> Groups -> Add Group (if you want a new group to have App Access, else skip to 3.)
2. Add user(s) to the group by clicking "Edit Members" at the right side of the newly created group
3. Administration -> Applications -> Application Access (scroll to app of choice)
4. Select Group -> Choose the newly created group (or any other)
