Hey,
So as an habit I write stuff in markdown. The issue I have is that when doing that while writting confluence pages, if I write:
# some title
Then I see the markup applied directly, and the markdown stuff disappears. I'm sure some people like, but I find it rather annoying and prefer to see the markdown as markdown and have it only applied when I publish/save the page.
I know I can copy-paste from another editor - but then that makes the confluence editor kinda useless and makes the process less useful than it should be.
So any way to turn off this auto-applying of the formatting when using markdown?
@FranckVachon I do not know of or see any way to do that with Confluence Cloud. My guess is that you cannot. I did find this feature request which I believe is what you are asking for. I would suggest voting for it https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68272
Yup indeed that's pretty much it. Upvoted it, but since it was openend in 2019 I'm not going to hold my breath!
