Type = Approval Request

I need to create a project that has issue type = Approval Request. I want to have my team move into JIRA cloud but one of the key issue type that we use is 'Approval Request' . The next-gen project does not have approval request workflow. 

How do i get a project that has issue type - Approval Request ? Please assist.

It is possible to customize the workflow related to an issue type to require some approval steps in Jira software by using some workflow conditions, without requiring Jira Service Desk application. You can find more detailed information in the KB below:

I believe you need Service Desk to have a system guided approval process. 

What kind of approval are you trying to capture?  There are ways to make your own, depending on the requirements.
