After upgrading to 8.16 Jira software shows not installed and clicking the install button results in an error saying refer to the logs but there are no logs generated in /opt/atlassian/jira/log or /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log
Where to start troubleshooting? I've also entered safe mode thinking it might be a plugin problem but that hasn't fixed the problem.
System is critical and unavailable now. Thanks for your help!
On which OS are you on? Have there been any errors while you did the upgrade?
Have you considered doing a rollback to the previous version (assuming that you have a backup of your db/filesystem)
