Hey everyone,
Super quick question, hopefully someone has done it before and can provide me with some insight since Google is not being nice to me.
My client's looking to update the URL for their Atlassian site.
We're a bit worried as to the impact this change will have specifically for users. For instance External users with links to open tickets, will that link still work? Will we need to send an updated link to everyone? Things of sorts.
All I can find from Atlassian is possible App impact, nothing on users. (which leads me to think there is no impact)
If anyone has done it and can give me a bit of insight as to what could happen I'd appreciate it.
Thank you!
When you update a site’s URL, Atlassian stores the previous URL in your site’s history and redirect all links to the new URL. This means that when your users visit old URLs (for example, links to Jira issues and Confluence pages), they will be redirected to the new URL.

Hey - what about existing webhooks, API token and stuff? Will they work?
E.g. we are using a CRM System where we are connected with Atlassian products via url like thisandthat.atlassian.net. Will this work or do we need to set things up again?

This information would be good to know - we're also planning to change our URL but need to know the impact it would have on bitbucket?

@Sebastian Pechhold unfortunately I don't know what the behavior would be for webhooks.
@Ben Campbell Here's a list of apps that are compatible with a url change from Atlassian. Did a quick search and there's a few mentions to bitbucket but do check it out make sure it's what you're currently using
