URL's in Rich Text Gadget

URL hotspots (linking to another Jira dashboard) in a Rich Text gadget do not work.  If I re-create the link, the link opens up in a small window (making it difficult to read).

The only way for them to work is to right click on them and select 'Open Link in New Window'.

URL hotspots (linking to a Sharepoint document) work in a Rich Text gadget.

Is there a bug with URL's\Hotspots?
