Unable to Clone or delete issues.

Erwin Ferguson May 29, 2018

I have had this issue in the past and support had to remote in and make some changes to the database. It took the support representative that remoted in about 2 hours to resolve the issue. Currently, I am getting the same issue again currently now.

I get this error when I try to clone an issue:   .errors.exception com.atlassian.greenhopper.manager.lexorank.LexoRankIntegrityException: Expected exactly 2 rows; the maximum marker row and the lowest ranked row for rank field[id=10516]

I get this error when I try to delete an issue:

There are a couple of different possible causes for this kind of error.  I would recommend walking through the KB Cannot reindex jira due to Expected exactly 2 rows the maximum marker row and the lowest ranked row for rank field.   There are 4 different root causes there.  Depending on which one applies to your system will determine which steps in that KB you will need to follow to correct this problem.

Please try these steps and let us know if this helps resolve this.  If you get stuck please let me know the SQL queries in that KB and with that information perhaps we can better guide you here.
