Unable to Configure existing Jira Board

While trying to make changes to a particular board in JIRA, we are now getting errors.

At the bottom on the page, we can see "AN ERROR OCCURRED", and we are unable to do things like change the board name or change/add administrator.

while configuring the board itself could see 

Column management, Swimlanes, Quick Filters, Estimation and Working days.
