I have already finished Sprint 1 and started Sprint 2, however I have no option to look back on the past tasks in Sprint 1 and I am unable to create the report as I am not an admin. Shall the reporting of each sprint have to be handled by the admin only?

Hey @Natalia Christina

You don’t need to be an admin to view past sprints or reports. Any user with Browse Project permission can access them.

To view Sprint 1:

  • Go to your board → Reports (left sidebar) → Sprint Report.
  • Use the dropdown to select Sprint 1.

If you don’t see the Reports tab, check:

  • You’re on a Scrum board (Kanban boards don’t have sprints).
  • You have the Browse Project permission for that project.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Natalia Christina

You can access past sprint-related data by following the path below

Alternatively, you can type in a JQL to see tickets associated with old sprints.

Project = 'XYZ' and Sprint = "Type the sprint name here"

Hope this helps!

Hey @Natalia Christina

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If you're using a team-managed project, the Sprint burndown chart will contain the relevant data.

For company-managed projects, the previous responses by @PgM Innovations and @Christos Markoulatos will help.

Thanks!

Hello @Natalia Christina ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

In Company Managed projects:

  • You can access past sprint data in sprint report. You can navigate to your project -> Reports -> Sprint report

Hi @Natalia Christina ,

If you’re open to Marketplace apps, try Time in Status app (built by my team). It helps you analyze sprints in several ways:

  • Sprint filter: Build reports to see

    • how long issues stayed in each status,

    • how they moved through your workflow,

    • whether any were reopened, and

    • where blockers may have slowed progress.

  • Sprint report: A dedicated view to evaluate sprint productivity from different angles and review all completed sprints retrospectively.

Hope this helps!
