Good day all,
This is probably a simple fix but why am I not able to add additional fields in the queue of a software project that I have created.
I am trying to add the " Due date " however I do not see the option of " Edit queue " anywhere. I am already an org admin .
Thank you
It appears that you are on the "issues" screen of a software project. In that view, you are unable to edit the columns/fields that will be displayed. Should you need to do this then you can switch to JQL By clicking on the go to advanced search button. In there you can create and save a filter, with whatever columns/fields that you desire.
Hi Jack,
Thank you, is there any way that this can be done from the "issues" view of the software project or can it only be viewed as per above?
Thank you .

No there is no way doe edit the presentation in the Issues view. At least not at the time of this answer. I suspect in time this may be added but just my prediction.

just putting this out there as it might be interesting to you:
If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you could have a look at the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira. JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering by all your issue fields, of course including the due date. It also comes with a wide range of advanced features, ranging from inline-issue creation, to support for issue hierarchies, issue grouping, and sum-ups, to conditional formatting.
This is how it looks in action:
JXL adds itself to the project sidebar, so many of our customers use it as an extension to the native Jira views. If you work a lot with lists of issues, it might safe you a considerable amount of time.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

If you want to add the "Due date" field to the query/ filter you see - you can do as above, or you can try and see if the field can be find if you click "+More" and start writing "Due.." -it might me easier than going to JQL edition

hi @Marta Woźniak-Semeniuk , while you can add a field to your query in the Issues/List views you cannot edit the fields displayed in the view. I think, but may be mistaken, Mohammed want to change the display.
