Unable to add group in Global Permissions

Was there any solution for this? I am having same issues, I am the admin and unable to see the group under global permissions

Thank you for reaching out.

Please, allow me to bring up some questions and concepts so we can better know we are on the same page here:

- Are you using Jira Server or Cloud?

- As you can see in the documentation below, you must be a Site admin or a Jira Admin to access the global Permission. So you will not be able to access it with only project administration:

- What is the message/error that is returned to you when you try to access the Global Permissions page?

- If you are able to access the global permissions page but not to add any groups, please make sure your user is added to the group you are trying to add.
