Unable to add user to group

Hi team,

 

Can some one please help me on this, As we are using Jira and its is integrated with my Active directory now created new user in AD, unable to add user to any group in jira.

Can some one help me on this.

That suggests that you've told Jira to use the users and groups from AD in read only mode.  You'll need to add the users to the groups in AD

Yes that ^, or additionally, you could use the option 'Read only with local groups' when configuring this directory in Jira.  If you choose this option, then you can actually add AD/LDAP users to groups that exist locally in Jira.   More details on how to do this are in Connecting to an LDAP directory.   If you do not use this method, then the only way to add those users to groups would be to add them to groups that exist in that AD instance.
