Unable to close EPIC tickets in Jira

Hi Team,

I am unable to close EPIC type tickets in Jira.

When i try to move the EPIC ticket to Ready status, it prompts for Parent link ticket to be added.

But there is no parent ticket which can be added.

Let us know steps to be followed to close EPIC ticket

Hi @Nupura ,

From your post, the only thing I can think of is that you use Jira Premium and there is a validation in your workflow that is preventing you from closing this epic.

So if you are an admin, take a look at the workflow transition and if there is a validation. If you are not an admin, contact him/her.
