Unable to edit field “Dev team”

Hello,

I am unable to edit the field "Dev team" (Drop down single choice) from Issue View Screen directly if some team name is already filled. But I can edit when it is 'None'.

When I edit the Issue I can able to change field value from existing to other value.

The same field is editable on other projects from view screen itself

I compared both the projects but i didn't find any clue.

Note: This field is added by custom plugin in our organization. When I verified all the configs are looks similar

I can think of three ways to get this behaviour (there may be more), but plain Jira can't do it, so I am going to have to say it is some configuration that your admins have made on your system.

I do want to repeat the problem back in case I have misunderstood though:  You have a field which does not allow inline edit once a value has been selected for it.

If that is correct, my three thoughts are:

• A Scriptrunner Behaviour could do this
• Customised javascript in field descriptions or announcemnet banner
• You say the field is provided by a custom plugin - that could be doing something that stops the inline edit

Checked all Behaviour in Scriptrunner, that looks fine.

from my point of view may be problem in custum plugin because that project created recently may be add some  related data to the custum plugin.
