Unable to find a field when creating a format rule in JWM

In Jira Work Management,

In the "List" view

While trying to create a "Format Rule", I'm unable to find the custom field called "Event Type".  The field is a single select drop down.  I can create other rules that work fine.

If you start typing the field name in the field, does it filter the list and then appear for selection?

It filters the list but field never appears in the list.

That field appears to be a Jira Work Management (JWM), "dropdown" field type, which seems unsupported for format rules and different from a single-selection option field type: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-format-rule/#Supported-fields-for-format-rules

However, I also found other listed field types do not work consistently in format rules.  For example, the Radio field type can be selected but cannot filter correctly.

After a quick search of the public backlog, I did not find this symptom noted.  I recommend working with your Jira Site Admin to submit a ticket to Atlassian Support to take a look at this one: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
