I am running a project on "Jira Software" using "Team-managed level project" & I can only see 6 reports (without any sub-report) - Burnup report, Sprint burndown chart, Velocity report, Cumulative flow diagram, Cycle time report, Deployment frequency report. However, I am not able to see the below reports which are available for company-managed level project:

Agile:

  • Sprint Report
  • Version Report
  • Epic Report
  • Control Chart
  • Epic Burndown
  • Release Burndown
  • Epic Sum Up Epic Overview

DevOps:

  • Cycle Time Report
  • Deployment Frequency Report

Issue analysis:

  • Average Age Report
  • Created vs. Resolved Issues Report
  • Pie Chart Report
  • Recently Created Issues Report
  • Resolution Time Report
  • Single Level Group By Report
  • Time Since Issues Report

Forecast & management:

  • Time Tracking Report
  • User Workload Report
  • Version Workload Report

Other:

  • Time Reports
  • Workload Pie Chart Report

Please let me know how can I get the above reports enabled for my project. Your help will be highly appreciated on this,

Thanks in advance.

Ms. Zia

Hi @Juwairiyah Zia,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

Please see to Atlassian Knowledge Base - Enable reports

Reports available in team-managed Jira Software projects

Team-managed projects contain the following reports:

  • The burnup report tracks how your team did when comparing the work completed in a sprint with the work you planned to complete. It requires the Sprints feature to be enabled. Learn more about the burn up report.

  • The cumulative flow diagram helps you identify bottlenecks in your project’s work by showing how long issues stayed in each of your statuses. Learn more about the cumulative flow diagram.

  • The velocity report breaks down how much work your team was able to complete over a period of time to help you plan your next sprint. It requires the Sprints feature to be enabled. Learn more about the velocity report.

  • The sprint burndown chart shows how much work has been completed in a sprint against what’s remaining. It can help you predict and avoid scope creep. It requires the Sprints feature to be enabled. Learn more about the sprint burndown chart.

Cheers, Pavel

Hello @Juwairiyah Zia

I can recommend Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira which is built by my team at OBSS. This app can be used to get Cycle Time, Lead Time, Issue Age, Resolution Time, and some types of Time Tracking reports.

It is available for Jira Server, Cloud, and Data Center.

Time in Status mainly allows you to see how much time each issue spent on each status or each assignee

tisCloud_StatusDuration_LeadTime_with Estimates.png    tisCloud_AssigneeDuration.png

You can combine the time for multiple statuses to get metrics like Issue Age, Cycle Time, Lead Time, Resolution Time etc.

For all numeric report types, you can calculate averages and sums of those durations grouped by the issue fields you select. For example total in-progress time per customer or average resolution time per sprint, week, month, issuetype, request type, etc. The ability to group by parts of dates (year, month, week, day, hour) or sprints is particularly useful here since it allows you to compare different time periods or see the trend.

The app calculates its reports using already existing Jira issue histories so when you install the app, you don't need to add anything to your issue workflows and you can get reports on your past issues as well. It supports both Company Managed and Team Managed projects for Jira Cloud.

Time in Status reports can be accessed through its own reporting page, dashboard gadgets, and issue view screen tabs. All these options can provide both calculated data tables and charts.
