Unable to launch/start Jira 8.16 using localhost:8080

Hi I'm new to Jira, i have installed Jira 8.16.0 on  mylaptop using the the default settings. When i open localhost:8080 in chrome or any other browser, i get site can't be reached. I used to have jenkins on the port 8080 which i even uninstalled and reinstalled Jira again where it took the default port 8080. I have set the java_home & jira_home in system variable, but still unable to launch jira. I have checked firewall settings as well.

Hi @Sanvish Kumar did you check your server log file? It is stored in {jira_home}/log/atlassian-jira.log
