Unable to make resolution field optional

Hi,

I need "resolution" field as an optional field. So I tried to configure it using field configurations. Steps are as the below

But I am not able to see the "optional" button here. How can I fix this?

You are confusing the mandatory flags with the way the field has been coded to work when placed on a screen.  The resolution field already is optional and cannot be made mandatory in the usual Jira meaning of "mandatory".
