We're running JIRA 6.2.3 with an Oracle DB.
I log in with an account with the JIRA Administrators Global Permission.
I should be able to see a Shared Dashboards item on the Dashboards dropdown. I can't.
Next steps?
The dashboard dropdown menu in main menu lists only dashboards which you marked as favorite. When you login the first time this dropdown should be empty. Go to "manage dashboards" and add some boards.
I'm not sure why you thought you should see it on the main menu drop-down. It's in the admin section,
