Hi Team,
I’m currently working on a project that includes multiple issue types — specifically SR, CSR, and Bug.
While I am able to create and view CSR and Bug issue types, I’m unable to open SR issues, despite having Project Admin and Admin access. They are visible in search bar when the issue key is pasted but unable to open them.
Previously, I was able to access all issue types without any problem. I've already reviewed the following:
Could you please help identify the root cause and provide a solution?
This is for a Jira Data Center instance.

Hello @Jira Billing ,
1. Can you double-check the security scheme here - I have strong checks that it would be an issue ?
2. Try to access issue via rest api - if able to view via rest api but not via UI - then check for logs; that won't be an permission issue, it could be an incident.
3. Plugins may be an concern - try to view the issue by user impersonation .
Hi @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_
Is there any other method you can suggest?
I’ve noticed that for projects using the SR issue type, I’m unable to open SR issues in any of them, even though I can open other issue types (like CSR and Bug) within those same projects.
Looking forward to your suggestions.

@Jira Billing ,
Have you check the Request type restriction?
