We have a custom field that's assigned to ALL request types across a project. This field works for all request types except for "service". When I attempt to "edit" an issue and use this field the "update" button doesn't process.
This is somewhat new as I have two requests that did allow me to process an update with this field selected.
I'm using Jira Service Desk 4.0.2 and Jira Software 8.0.2.
is there some error message after you press the update button?
can you post a screen?
mybe the type "service" has some other mandatory fields you did not fill
