Today, myself and colleagues are all having problems saving Jira tickets if we included pasted images in both Description and Comments
Clicking save invokes the following error:
I have to delete all the images, save the text, then edit and add the pics back in and it sometimes saves, sometimes not
There is no unusual formatting as the message implies, and this was not a problem last week
It is absolutely imperative that we can continue to paste images in to our stories and it is causing significant delays to our work flow having to faff about deleting and saving images and trying again
Hello @Kerrie
Did you continue to experience the problem for an extended period of time?
Did you check the Atlassian Status page to see if there was an incident that may have caused the problem?
I don't see a record there of any incidents at the time of your post.
Did you try in different browser apps, or clearing your browser cache, or in a private browser window?
Given that we are a user community there is not a lot we can do to directly investigate the problem. We can suggest things you can do to try to investigate and isolate the cause, but with problems like you have described they are often either transient or require access that only Atlassian Support has for additional investigation. As an admin for a paid product subscription you can open a support case to contact Atlassian directly to see if they can determine the root cause:
Yes I did all the usual, clear cache and cookies, try incognito etc but encounter the same issue, and given that 3 of my colleagues are also encountering the same issue only since this week there does seem to be something broken
I posted in the community first just to see if anyone else is experiencing the same but will reach out to support for more assistance. Thanks for your help

Interestingly I see that a fix regarding attachments was deployed on the 30th
I was away at the end of last week as was one of my colleagues that has observed this issue this week, so now I am wondering whether the problems we are encountering are caused by this change

Have you found a solution for the issue? We are having the same issues with images in the description field.

It's reported and they are looking in to it - I will add a bug link if/when I receive one
In the meantime I have found if you remove all images, save, refresh the page, then add the images in and save, it does then usually work
