Unable to see the timebar of the Epic and Stories in the JIRA Roadmap

My organisation uses JIRA classic software and I have enabled a Roadmap for one of my projects.

I am able to see the Roadmap with the Epic and tickets within the Epic (stories/Tasks) but I am unable to see the time-bar of the Epic and Stories. How do I see the time bars? What is the criteria to get the time bars reflected in the Roadmap for the Epic and tickets within the Epic?

Per the documentation you need to include the fields Start Date and Due Date in the issue types and set the values for them.

@Trudy Claspill : I have added the start date as well as end date fields with relevant dates, however the bars still dont seems to appear for the stories/tasks.Am i missing something?

In the future please start a new Question post rather than adding to a post that is over a year old.

If this roadmap is associated with a Scrum board, the bars for task will be displayed as the the duration of the sprints to which they are assigned, not based on the Start Date and Due Date values in the tasks.
