Unable to upload video or screenshots in JIRA ticket

I am not able to attach the screenshots or videos in to my JIRA ticket. It is throwing an error like " File XYZ was not uploaded. An internal error has occurred. Please contact your administrator."

Note: I can copy and paste the images. But cannot upload by browsing

Welcome to the community. Let me try to fix your problem. Please let me know the output for below. 

1. Are you trying to upload the attachment by opening new window ?
   -- Do not use new window. Try uploading using same window.
2. If your jira instance is on Server/Data center,
   -- Please retry the action and look for log message in <JIRA_HOME>/log/atlassian-jira.log which comes when you try to attach file. 
3. Check these two.
   -- permissions on attachments directory inside Jira_Home for user who is running the jira process.
   -- Disk space available on Jira Home disk
