Update Ticket Partial

이상미 April 7, 2020

If you download an existing ticket, modify the csv, and re-register the ticket as csv, the date of the ticket creation and the update date will be changed to the date of the ticket

Is there a way to take the same creation date and update date as the existing ticket?

Hello @이상미

Thank you for reaching out.

I must confess that I'm not sure if I understood what exactly is your issue. That being said, please provide us with more details about the following questions:

1 - Once you updated your issues using CSV, what values are being added to the fields Created date and Updated date?

2 - Once you updated your issues using CSV, what values do you expect to be added in the fields Created date and Updated date?

3 - What fields you are mapping in the CSV file when you import it back to Jira?

4 - What are the fields you edited in the CSV file?

To better clarify the behavior behind those fields, the Created date field can be added with any values you want by mapping it in your CSV file, however, the Updated date can not be mapped and will always receive the date you imported the CSV file. The feature request below was created to allow that field to be changed when using the CSV import:

CSV Import does not import the "Date Updated" field for existing issues

Let us know the information above so we can provide you with more specific information.
