Hi!

We are new to Jira and we installed 8.1.0. Now, after we did some testing, we want to start using Jira for "real". Before we do that, we want to update to 8.3.1. How can we do that?

Regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan

Does the old installation contain any data you cannot lose?

Delete everything and start installation again. Following the guide from Atlassian yo install this version of JIRA.

If not, use the upgrade guide to upgrade Jira: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/upgrading-jira-server-manual-938846939.html

If you used the installer for your installation, look up upgrading Jira with the installer.

Cheers.
