I've upgraded our test environment from 7.10.2 to 7.13.0 and it appears to work Ok, except that it's reverted back to the old branding and not the new type that was in 7.10.2 before the upgrade.

I assume this shouldn't have happened?

Hi

Screenshot attached. It was showing the new Diamond Shaped logo before I updated.

Yeah, that is not expected.   The old logo was removed starting with Jira 7.5, if I recall correctly.  I certainly would not expect to see this old logo in either version mentioned above.

I can't seem to recreate this problem in my own testing, nor have I found any documented bugs in regards to this.

If you go into the Look and Feel section of the admin settings, is there any custom logo added here?

Has this test environment had older versions of Jira installed in the same directory before this upgrade?   I am curious to learn more about what steps were taken to produce this old logo in that version.

I am not sure exactly what you mean by branding.  Could you clarify what exactly looks different?

It is possible that your previous version had a custom logo.  Depending on the steps taken for an upgrade, it's possible that your logo might not have been migrated properly.

If you're not referring to a custom logo, please let me know where you see this difference.  Perhaps a screenshot of where you notice this would be helpful.

Thanks

Andy
