Upgrade Directory Name

I upgraded my jira installation from jira 4.3.4 to jira 5.2. The location I have my jira installed to is /opt/atlassian-jira-4.3.4-standalone/ I would like my directory name to be changed. So that It is not referencing the wrong version. Can I simply change the name without worrying about breaking anything?

Yes you can change that and ensure to effect the changes in the jira-application.properties file located in webapp/WEB-INF/classes directory. This is possible because all the directories and files there are referenced from the home directory and not absolute paths
