Upgrade Jira 7.9.2 to 7.12.3 not finding exisitng installation directory

I am trying to upgrade the existing jira instance and it is not finding the existing installation directory. We are running on Red Hat Linux 7.3.

When I get to this step it finds only opt/atlassian/jira8090 and not the current install we use /opt/atlassian/jira

Existing installation directory:

[/opt/atlassian/jira8090]

I was able to successfully upgrade the test system with no problem but in production it is not working and there are no errors.

Check for folder permission and what user you are installing as
