Upgrade Jira Server (software) From 7.7.2 to 8.5, do i miss something?

Hi,

On my way to Upgrade Jira Server 7.7.2 (MySQL 5.6) to the latest 8.5.

Everything looks fine till one of our plugins (propagate issues...) failed.
So we start investigating  why the plugin is not working,  i found that the Edit button for each issue is stacked, not know why?
Do i miss something here, means, not like the last upgrade case -
(we had to "clime" trough several version from 6.1.1 to 7.7.2 our current version), 

1. So i understand that i can upgrade directly from 7.7.2 to 8.5(latest..) right?

means do i need to go trough version 8.0 and than upgrade to the latest?

2. What could be the issue of the edit button (the browser freezes when i press on it)?

Hi,

try to go in this way 7.7 -> 7.13 -> 8.5

Regarding Edit and plugin - try to disable add-on before restart of application if there is no problem with it.

No, 7.7 has been released in January 2018 and 7.13 has been released in November 2018.

So 7.13 is newer version than 7.7.

Hi Petr,

I did exact as you advised and still Edit button is stacked.

I also tried to uninstall plugins and its not helped for resolving this issue.
