Using Jira 7.2.1 , we are upgrading the jira database from oracle to Postgress, please let us know what steps do we take
The official way to do this is to export the system to xml, change the installation so it looks at the new database and import the xml.

Ramadurai, attachments and avatars are in the file system, so you just need to copy the corresponding folders in the file system to the new directory, in case you don't re-use the same HOME directory
