Hi all,
Has anyone upgraded to use both JIRA Core and JIRA software at the same time as only a % of the JIRA users need agile?
I need to upgrade from JIRA + agile to JIRA software for some uses and JIRA core for the rest. I was told that this can still be on the same machine, and was wondering how it would work. Are there now two java processes running or is it only a licensing thing? If it is the later then do I just download/install JIRA software and that covers my JIRA core installation as well? Also, If it is the later then how is it determined who can use the agile aspect of it?
I searched for this on the web but everything seemed to point to documentation which has JIRA core and JIRA software instructions separately.
Thanks in advance,
Robert
You just need to install JIRA Software. It is a single Java process. You can then manage the applications separately on the user interface and apply the appropriate licenses.
In short, it is a single upgrade.
Thank you!
