Upgrading JIRA Version

Hi, 

@Sreenivasaraju P 

**** Maintenance expires 06/Oct/18 ****

 --- JIRA 7.12.X Released on 27th Aug 2018.

 --- JIRA 7.13.X Released on 18th Nov 2018.

If we go for 7.3 to 7.12.X Version upgrade, shall we take new licence or upgrade with expired licence??
Because 7.12 released before my licence expiry.
