Upgrading Jira nearing EOL

Hello awesome people,

We currenlty have  JIRA environment running on version 7.1.9 (software and core) and I just got prompted to that its nearing End Of Life.   Currently planning to do a rapid upgrade for our environment.  Quick question, does all I need is to run the latest version of jira software (7.4.3) and it would also upadte the core?Just a bit unsure :)

If you use the rapid upgrade method, by downloading and running the installer for JIRA Software 7.4.3, it will upgrade JIRA Core too.
