Upgrading Jira to 4.4 from 3.12.3

hi,

Currently we are using Jira 3.12.3 and we want to upgrade it to Jira 4.4.

Can you upgrade it directly to 4.4 or Do you have to upgrade it to any intermediate version.

Please let me know th better approach to do this.

Should work fine, just try it first in a copy of your production instance.

Should be ok, but always test it first. We had some fun with plugins, but the core data is fine and the "big" plugins I useually recommend weren't a problem (Jira Suite, Jira Toolkit, Charting etc)

we upgraded from 3.9 to 4.3.4 just fine, only exported the data and imported in the new version.
