Upgrading from 6.2 to 8

Is it possible to upgrade from JIRA 6.2 running on windows 2008 (data centre) to the latest JIRA version of 8.2?

If so are there any upgrade docs available?

Hi,

I'm sure about a direct upgrade path from 6.2 to 8.2

I would try the following:

* Try it first on a stage/test system

* Upgrade from 6.2 to the latest Jira 6.4

* Make sure all addons are upgraded

* Upgrade from 6.4 to latest Jira 7

* Make sure all addons are upgraded

* Upgrade from Jira 7 to Jira 8.1

* Please check, if all addons are compatible to Jira 8.2

* If they are, upgrade to 8.2
