Hello,
We are using JIRA 7.13.5 and I'm curious to hear from others whether you've used user groups to indicate delivery teams as well.
I'd like to use it to differentiate the boards on the same jira project, between different delivery teams.
Cheers,
Guy
Hi Guy,
Is the end goal you have in mind, seperate boards for each delivery team - with the project being a client or product? (effectively a container said boards and teams)
If thats right, do the teams work across multple clients/products?
I've personally toyed with using user groups in this fashion, but it's always come down to ensuring that you're not doing any uneccessary admin / maintenance, so it would be good to work through what you're hoping to achieve :)

Hi @Alex Laycy
The project will be a product and the teams are working only on that specific product.
We could have multiple delivery teams working on the same product.
